MANUSCRIPT & ILLUSTRATION GUIDELINES

Working Title Press accepts unsolicited manuscripts for picture book texts only during the months of February to October. However due to an unprecedented backlog of submissions, no further manuscripts will be accepted until 1 July 2009. We apologise for any inconvenience and will resume our normal service as soon as all current manuscripts have been read and processed.

Manuscripts and illustration portfolios must be submitted as hard copies, and accompanied by an SAE for return response.
Do not send original manuscripts or artwork - copies only.

The average turnaround of manuscripts is between 6-12 weeks, depending on the current workload. 

Working Title Press does not acknowledge receipt of manuscripts.

No manuscripts or portfolios will be considered between the months of November to January, and temporarily, for the months of March, April, May and June 2009.

Emailed submissions will not be accepted.
